| Hollyhock - Appleblossom Seed | |
| | | | Description | Welcome!
Common Name: Hollyhock, Appleblossom
Latin: Alcea spp.
This is a stunning new color. It is a bluish or lavender pink hollyhock with double blooms! If you love unique colored flowers like I do this one is a must have. This would be truly striking mixed with the black hollyhocks I have listed.
Medicinally: Hollyhocks are and can be used in the same manner as marshmallow. The flowers, with the calyx removed are commonly used to treat colds as they are a demulcent. They also have emollient and diuretic properties. Harvesting the flowers makes a stunning colorful herbal tea. Mix dried hollyhock flowers with some of our Mountain Mint as a relief remedy for the common cold, or just a wonderful herbal tea.
One order is 10 seeds.
Thank you very much for looking! |
