| Organic Orange Calendula Seeds (Calendula officinalis) Medicinal Healing Herb Seed - Good for Tea | | | | Description | Common Name: Calendula
Latin: Calendula officinalis
Calendula petals are so healing! This wonderful little plant has flowers that are antiseptic and are commonly used in salves and other skin ointments. This medicinal herb has excellent anti-inflamatory properties and promotes the healing of wounds through tissue reformation. I prefer to place macerated flower directy on the skin. A tincture can also be made from the flowers that offers the same anti-inflamatory properties. A scoopfull in the tub with my son who has eczema works wonders. The petals can also be used to make a wonderful dye. 50 seeds
