Welcome!
Common Name: Yellow Corn, Early Golden Bantam
Latin: Zea Mays
This corn is organic, open pollinated, and an heirloom variety that is very easy to grow. It is a sweet corn with very long ears, you might have to break in half to get into a pot. I personally love to just grill my corn with butter and herbs. I pull down the husks (not pull them off) then I remove the corn silk (which has wonderful medicinal properties) and then add the butter, herbs, and salt. Then I pull the husks back over the corn and roast it. Corn is wonderful but you might have to protect it from other corn lovers like raccoons. 50 seeds |
